Counseling and Psychotherapy for Individual Adults and Couples
I take an active role in helping you address what concerns you. This may be anything from specific feelings like anxiety, depression, overwhelm, or grief to more general goals such as feeling more fulfilled in your life, getting support during a difficult time personally or professionally, or improving your self-esteem and self-confidence.
Another area I specialize in is helping you develop more satisfying relationships, whether romantic, familial, platonic, or collegial. You might be in a relationship but unsure about it, or maybe you feel you are in a familiar pattern in a relationship but don’t know what to do about it. For these and other questions I provide a therapeutic setting based on acceptance and respect in which we can help to work out changes you want to make.
Additionally, I have had an ongoing mindfulness mediation practice since 2002 and have an interest in art, writing, and all forms of creative expression. Both of these interests inform my life and my work. I have experience working with people who want to explore their creativity or feel stuck or blocked in that regard and I have worked with writers, artists, musicians, and collectors in various stages of their process. I am comfortable working with people from diverse backgrounds, sexual orientations, gender identities, race/ethnicities, abilities, and religions.
